VSDB Public School Partnerships supports Virginia’s public schools in effectively serving students who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or visually impaired. We partner with school divisions to strengthen early identification, eligibility and evaluation processes, IEP development, and service delivery models that promote meaningful access in the Least Restrictive Environment. Our team provides consultation, professional learning, technical assistance, and collaborative problem-solving for administrators, educators, and families—bridging specialized sensory expertise with everyday school leadership to build sustainable, compliant, and student-centered systems across the Commonwealth.
